The Dexter Tigers baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Mattanawcook Lynx to 3 in the Tigers league victory on Monday.
The Tigers (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Penquis Valley (Milo, ME). The Patriots go into the Class C North match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Penquis Valley edged Schenck (East Millinocket, ME), 4-2, in a non-league match.
The Lynx (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Lee Academy (Lee, ME). The Pandas go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Lee Academy edged Piscataquis (Guilford, ME), 9-5, in a non-league match.
