The Erie-Prophetstown Panthers baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Morrison Mustangs to 2 in the Panthers league victory on Monday.
The Panthers (4-9) will now prepare for their match against Geneseo (Geneseo, IL). The Maple Leafs go into the non-league match with a 10-5 record. In their last match, Geneseo was overwhelmed by Rock Island (Rock Island, IL), 6-4, in a league match.
The Mustangs (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Sherrard (Sherrard, IL). The Tigers go into the Three Rivers match with a 6-7 record. In their last match, Sherrard was overwhelmed by Riverdale (Port Byron, IL), 10-1, in a league match.
