The Morehead Panthers baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Jordan-Matthews Jets to 4 in the Panthers non-league victory on Monday.

The Panthers (14-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Carlisle (Martinsville, VA). The Chiefs come into the non-league challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Carlisle by Wesleyan Christian Academy (High Point, NC), 9-1, in a non-league challenge.

With the defeat, Jordan-Matthews falls to 7-13 on the season. The Jets travel to Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC) to encounter the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 27. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 7-14. Southwestern Randolph lost 6-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Union Academy (Monroe, NC)
