The Kankakee Kays baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Thornridge Falcons to 0 in the Kays league victory on Monday.
The Kays (11-2) will now prepare for their match against Thornton (Harvey, IL). The Wildcats go into the Southland match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, Thornton was overwhelmed by Rich Township (Olympia Fields, IL), 13-3, in a league match.
The Falcons (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Crete-Monee (Crete, IL). The Warriors go into the Southland match with a 5-5 record. In their last match, Crete-Monee gained a win over Thornwood (South Holland, IL), 10-0, in a league match.
