The Mount View Golden Knights baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Montcalm Generals to 4 in the Golden Knights league victory on Monday.
The Golden Knights (2-9) will now prepare for their match against Wyoming East (New Richmond, WV). The Warriors go into the Coalfield AA match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, Wyoming East was overwhelmed by Bluefield (Bluefield, WV), 11-2, in a league match.
The Generals (0-9) will now prepare for their match against Richwood (Richwood, WV). The Lumberjacks go into the non-league match with a 5-10 record. In their last match, Richwood was overwhelmed by Woodrow Wilson (Beckley, WV), 8-0, in a non-league match.
