The Rossville Hornets baseball team scored 2 runs and limited the host Tri-County Cavaliers to 1 in the Hornets non-league victory on Monday.
The Hornets (8-3) will now prepare for their match against Eastern (Greentown, IN). The Comets go into the Hoosier Heartland match with a 10-0 record. In their last match, Eastern tipped Tri-Central (Sharpsville, IN), 18-0, in a league match.
The Cavaliers (5-3) will now prepare for their match against North White (Monon, IN). The Vikings go into the Midwest match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, North White was edged by Rensselaer Central (Rensselaer, IN), 12-0, in a non-league match.
