The Grossmont Foothillers volleyball team (El Cajon, CA), was nudged 3-2 in Monday's league challenge with the visiting Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA)

The Highlanders (25-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Santana (Santee, CA). The Sultans enter the Grossmont Hills challenge with a 15-16 record. In their last challenge, Santana nipped Valhalla (El Cajon, CA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Foothillers encounter the Coronado Islanders (Coronado, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, April 27. Grossmont will attempt to move on its 17-8 season record. The Islanders enter the challenge with a 11-24 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA).
