The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Beacon Bulldogs (Beacon, NY) and the host Roosevelt Presidents (Hyde Park, NY), saw Beacon's lacrosse team nudge Roosevelt by a margin of 9-8.

The Bulldogs (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Saugerties (Saugerties, NY). The Sawyers enter the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Saugerties edged Highland (Highland, NY), 13-4, in a non-league challenge.

The Presidents (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY). The Dragons enter the Section 9 B Division II challenge with a 1-1 record.
