The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) and the visiting Asheville Cougars (Asheville, NC), saw St. Stephens's lacrosse team gain a win over Asheville by a margin of 15-13.

The Indians (8-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Hickory (Hickory, NC). The Red Tornadoes enter the NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills challenge with a 9-4 record. In their last challenge, Hickory edged South Iredell (Statesville, NC), 17-3, in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars (2-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Patton (Morganton, NC). The Panthers enter the NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, Patton was nudged by T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC), 16-2, in a league challenge.
