The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Shaler Area Titans (Pittsburgh, PA) and the host Franklin Regional Panthers (Murrysville, PA), saw Shaler Area's lacrosse team overcome Franklin Regional by a margin of 13-6.

The Titans (8-2) will now prepare for their challenge against North Catholic (Cranberry Township, PA). The Trojans enter the WPIAL 2A 2 challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, North Catholic was overwhelmed by North Hills (Pittsburgh, PA), 11-10, in a league challenge.

The Panthers (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Gateway (Monroeville, PA). The Gators enter the WPIAL 2A 1 challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, Gateway was overwhelmed by Norwin (North Huntingdon, PA), 17-1, in a non-league challenge.
