Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC), 14-1 in a league battle.

The Buccaneers now have a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they host Ashley for a Mideastern battle on Wednesday, April 27. Laney will clash with a Screaming Eagle squad coming off a 13-9 league win over Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Screaming Eagle record now stands at 13-4.

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC) in a Mideastern battle, on Tuesday, April 26. West Brunswick will attempt to move on its 1-11 season record. The Cougars come into the battle with a 3-11 record after their 10-9 league win over New Hanover (Wilmington, NC).
