In Monday's league test, the visiting Maple Mountain Golden Eagles lacrosse squad scored a tight 12-5 victory over the Payson Lions.

The Golden Eagles now have a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wasatch for a 5A Region 9 test on Wednesday, April 27. Maple Mountain will face a Wasps squad coming off a 17-2 league win over Salem Hills (Salem, UT). The Wasps record now stands at 3-6.

In their next game, the Lions face the Cedar Valley Aviators (Eagle Mountain, UT) in a 5A Region 9 test, on Wednesday, April 27. Payson will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Aviators come into the test with a 2-6 record after their 16-11 league loss to Maple Mountain (Spanish Fork, UT).
