The Masconomet Regional Chieftains lacrosse team scored 11 points and held the visiting Swampscott Big Blue to 8 in the Chieftains league win on Monday.
The Chieftains (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Gloucester (Gloucester, MA). The Fishermen go into the Northeastern game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Gloucester nudged Salem (Salem, MA), 22-0, in a league game.
The Big Blue (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Winthrop (Winthrop, MA). The Vikings go into the Northeastern game with a 2-0 record.
