In Monday's league game, the Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA) soccer squad overwhelmed the host Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA), by a final score of 5-1.
The Black Knights (7-1) will now prepare for their game against Orange County (Orange, VA). The Fighting Hornets go into the Jefferson game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Orange County by Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA), 6-1, in a league game.
With the loss, Monticello drops to 2-5 on the season. The Mustangs host Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA) to meet the Patriots in a Jefferson test on Thursday, April 28. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 6-2. Albemarle won 5-1 in their recent league test against Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA)
