The crowd at Monday's league match between the Argonaut Mustangs (Jackson, CA) and the visiting Bret Harte Bullfrogs (Angels Camp, CA), saw Argonaut's softball squad nip Bret Harte by a count of 9-2.

The Mustangs now sport a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they host Summerville for a Mother Lode League match on Tuesday, April 26. Argonaut will face a Bears squad coming off a 9-3 league loss to Amador (Sutter Creek, CA). The Bears record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, Bret Harte falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Bullfrogs host Sonora (Sonora, CA) to face the Wildcats in a Mother Lode League match on Wednesday, April 27. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 13-8. Sonora lost 13-2 in their recent league match against Calaveras (San Andreas, CA)
