Sylmar Spartans (Sylmar, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Canoga Park Hunters (Canoga Park, CA), 14-1 in a league challenge.

The Spartans now own a 8-11 record. They take the field next when they host Kennedy for a Valley Mission challenge on Wednesday, April 27. Sylmar will face a Cougars squad coming off a 6-0 league win over San Fernando (San Fernando, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 16-5.

With the loss, Canoga Park falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Hunters travel to Van Nuys (Van Nuys, CA) to face the Wolves in a Valley Mission challenge on Wednesday, April 27. The Wolves enter the challenge with a record of 2-9. Van Nuys lost 17-5 in their recent league challenge against Sylmar (Sylmar, CA)
