Churchland Truckers (Portsmouth, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Franklin Broncos (Franklin, VA), 20-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Truckers now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Booker T. Washington for a Eastern challenge on Tuesday, April 26. Churchland will battle a Mighty Bookers squad coming off a 14-2 non-league loss to Phoebus (Hampton, VA). The Mighty Bookers record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Franklin falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Southampton (Courtland, VA) to battle the Indians in a Tri-Rivers challenge on Thursday, April 28. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 2-1.
