Oak Glen Golden Bears (New Cumberland, WV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting East Fairmont Bees (Fairmont, WV), 8-0 in a league challenge.

The Golden Bears now own a 19-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Indian Creek for a Buckeye 8 challenge on Tuesday, April 26. Oak Glen will battle a Redskins squad coming off a 11-6 non-league win over Wheeling Park (Wheeling, WV). The Redskins record now stands at 10-3.

With the loss, East Fairmont falls to 2-11 on the campaign. The Bees host Fairmont Senior (Fairmont, WV) to battle the Polar Bears in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 27. The Polar Bears enter the challenge with a record of 12-8. Fairmont Senior won 10-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV)
