The crowd at Monday's league match between the Greenfield Green Wave (Greenfield, MA) and the host Frontier Regional Red Hawks (South Deerfield, MA), saw Greenfield's softball squad achieve victory over Frontier Regional by a count of 18-2.

The Green Wave now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mount Greylock Regional for a non-league match on Thursday, April 28. Greenfield will face a Mounties squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Wahconah Regional (Dalton, MA). The Mounties record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Frontier Regional falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Red hawks travel to Turners Falls (Montague, MA) to face the Thunder in a PVIAC - Franklin match on Wednesday, April 27. The Thunder enter the match with a record of 5-3. Turners Falls won 2-1 in their recent non-league match against Wachusett Regional (Holden, MA)
