Alabama High School Softball - Fyffe holds off Sand Rock

Fyffe Red Devils (Fyffe, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Sand Rock Wildcats (Leesburg, AL), 6-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Red Devils now own a 9-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fort Payne for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 26. Fyffe will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 11-9 non-league loss to Pisgah (Pisgah, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 16-8.

With the loss, Sand Rock falls to 15-14 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Cherokee County (Centre, AL) to face the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 26. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 11-13. Cherokee County won 8-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Southside (Gadsden, AL)
