The Jones Trojans softball team (Trenton, NC), was routed 13-0 in Monday's non-league test with the visiting Havelock Rams (Havelock, NC)

Coming up next, the Rams encounter the Jacksonville Cardinals (Jacksonville, NC) in a Big East 3A/4A test, on Tuesday, April 26. Havelock will attempt to improve on its 7-10 season record. The Cardinals enter the test with a 7-9 record after their 7-3 non-league loss to Swansboro (Swansboro, NC).

The Trojans (6-10) will now prepare for their test against East Carteret (Beaufort, NC). The Mariners enter the Coastal Plains 1A/2A test with a 14-3 record. In their last test, East Carteret prevailed over East Duplin (Beulaville, NC), 5-4, in a non-league test.
