The Homer-Center Wildcats softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Purchase Line Red Dragons to 5 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Homer-Center improves its record to 3-3 on the year. The Wildcats host River Valley (Blairsville, PA) to clash with the Panthers in a game on Wednesday, April 27. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 8-3. River Valley lost 4-1 in their recent league game against Cambria Heights (Patton, PA)

In their next game, the Red Dragons clash with the West Shamokin Wolves (Rural Valley, PA) in a Heritage game, on Wednesday, April 27. Purchase Line will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Wolves come into the game with a 4-2 record after their 14-0 league win over Penns Manor (Clymer, PA).
