The Jackson-Olin Mustangs got by the host Wenonah Dragons softball squad by a final score of 10-9 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Mustangs (6-9) will now prepare for their battle against Bessemer City (Bessemer, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league battle with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Bessemer City edged Holy Family Catholic (Birmingham, AL), 25-4, in a non-league test.
The Dragons (9-10) will now prepare for their test against Holy Family Catholic (Birmingham, AL). The Tornadoes come into the non-league test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Holy Family Catholic was tipped by Huffman (Birmingham, AL), 15-2, in a non-league test.
