Spectators at Monday's league match between the Longview Lobos (Longview, TX) and the visiting Mt. Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, TX), witnessed Longview's softball squad tip Mt. Pleasant by a count of 2-1.

The Lobos now sport a 14-8 record. They play next when they travel to Lufkin for a non-league match on Thursday, April 28. Longview will face a Panthers squad coming off a 10-1 league win over Nacogdoches (Nacogdoches, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 18-9.

With the loss, Mt. Pleasant moves to 18-9 on the season.
