Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Ontario Tigers (Ontario, OR) and the host Vale Vikings (Vale, OR), witnessed Ontario's softball squad prevail over Vale by a count of 13-3.

The Tigers now sport a 7-3 record. They play next when they host La Grande for a 4A Greater Oregon match on Friday, April 29.

With the loss, Vale moves to 8-5 on the season. The Vikings travel to Burns (Burns, OR) to meet the Hilanders in a 3A Special District 2 match on Wednesday, April 27. The Hilanders go into the match with a record of 6-0. Burns won 10-3 in their recent league match against Nyssa (Nyssa, OR)
