The Penquis Valley Patriots softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Schenck Wolverines to 0 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Penquis Valley moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Patriots travel to Stearns (Millinocket, ME) to clash with the Minutemen in a non-league game on Friday, April 29. The Minutemen come into the game with a record of 1-0.
In their next game, the Wolverines clash with the Piscataquis Pirates (Guilford, ME) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 29. Schenck will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record.
