The Southern Tornadoes routed the visiting Trimble Tomcats softball squad by a count of 13-4 in Monday's league battle.

The Tornadoes (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against South Gallia (Crown City, OH). The Rebels go into the Tri-Valley - Hocking battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, South Gallia was routed by Belpre (Belpre, OH), 13-3, in a league battle.

The Tomcats now sport a 0-9 record. They play next when they travel to Alexander for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 28. Trimble will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 13-0 non-league loss to Warren (Vincent, OH). The Spartans record now stands at 1-14.
