North Carolina High School Baseball - Swain County wallops Andrews

Spectators at Tuesday's league battle between the Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC) and the host Andrews Wildcats (Andrews, NC), saw Swain County's baseball squad knock off Andrews by a count of 13-2.

Coming up next, the Maroon Devils play the Murphy Bulldogs (Murphy, NC) in a Smoky Mountain 1A battle, on Monday, May 1. Swain County will attempt to move on its 7-9 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 10-6 record after their 7-2 league loss to Hayesville (Hayesville, NC).

The Wildcats now possess a 2-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Copper Basin for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 27. Andrews will play a Cougars squad coming off a 11-7 non-league win over Hiwassee Dam (Murphy, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 5-8.
