North Carolina High School Baseball - Forest Hills defeats Anson

Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC), 7-2 in a league test.

With the win, Forest Hills upgrades its record to 8-9 on the season. The Yellow Jackets host Monroe (Monroe, NC) to battle the Redhawks in a Rocky River 2A/3A test on Tuesday, May 2. The Redhawks come into the test with a record of 0-16. Monroe lost 14-0 in their recent league contest against Central Academy (Monroe, NC)

The Bearcats now sport a 3-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Montgomery Central for a non-league contest on Friday, April 28. Anson will play a Timberwolves squad coming off a 10-1 league loss to Asheboro (Asheboro, NC). The Timberwolves record now stands at 2-18.
