North Carolina High School Baseball - Ashe County loses to South Caldwell

The South Caldwell Spartans crushed the host Ashe County Huskies baseball team by a count of 23-12 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Spartans now possess a 14-7 record. They take the field next when they host Hibriten for a Northwestern 3A/4A bout on Wednesday, April 26. South Caldwell will face a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 5-15.

Next, the Huskies face the Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC) in a Northwestern 3A/4A bout, on Wednesday, April 26. Ashe County will attempt to move on its 11-8 season record. The Pioneers enter the bout with a 16-5 record after their 18-2 league win over Freedom (Morganton, NC).
