California High School Baseball - Avalon nips Pacifica Christian/Orange County

In Tuesday's league challenge, the Avalon Lancers (Avalon, CA) baseball squad edged the visiting Pacifica Christian/Orange County Tritons (Newport Beach, CA), by a final score of 4-3.

With the win, Avalon upgrades its record to 2-17 on the season. The Lancers host Santa Ana Valley (Santa Ana, CA) to battle the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 28. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 4-16. Santa Ana Valley lost 4-1 in their recent league challenge against Western (Anaheim, CA)

With the defeat, Pacifica Christian/Orange County falls to 9-7 on the season. The Tritons travel to Capistrano Valley Christian (San Juan Capistrano, CA) to battle the Eagles in a San Joaquin challenge on Thursday, April 27. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 18-10. Capistrano Valley Christian won 7-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Sonora (La Habra, CA)
