The Monticello Buckaroo baseball team (Monticello, UT), was overwhelmed 15-2 in Tuesday's non-league outing with the host Dove Creek Bulldogs (Dove Creek, CO)
The Bulldogs now hold a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they host Montezuma-Cortez for a non-league outing on Saturday, April 29. Dove Creek will face a Panthers team coming off a 13-2 league win over Alamosa (Alamosa, CO). The Panthers record now stands at 14-3.
Next, the Buckaroo face the North Summit Braves (Coalville, UT) in a 2A Region 16 outing, on Tuesday, May 2. Monticello will attempt to advance on its 1-11 season record. The Braves enter the outing with a 0-16 record after their 15-1 league loss to San Juan (Blanding, UT).
