The Goddard Lions baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Maize South Mavericks to 6 in the Lions non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Lions (11-5) will now prepare for their match against Maize South (Wichita, KS). The Mavericks go into the non-league match with a 5-6 record. In their last match, Maize South was overwhelmed by Haysville Campus (Wichita, KS), 7-4, in a non-league match.
The Mavericks (5-7) will now prepare for their match against Goddard (Goddard, KS). The Lions go into the non-league match with a 10-5 record. In their last match, Goddard edged Hutchinson (Hutchinson, KS), 13-3, in a non-league match.
