The Mapleton Mounties baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Plymouth Big Red to 1 in the Mounties league victory on Tuesday.
The Mounties (7-4) will now prepare for their match against Black River (Sullivan, OH). The Pirates go into the non-league match with a 11-5 record.
The Big Red (4-7) will now prepare for their match against Hillsdale (Jeromesville, OH). The Falcons go into the non-league match with a 11-5 record. In their last match, Hillsdale was overwhelmed by Dalton (Dalton, OH), 3-2, in a league match.
