Ohio High School Baseball - Mathews defeats Pymatuning Valley

Spectators at Tuesday's league battle between the Mathews Mustangs (Vienna, OH) and the visiting Pymatuning Valley Lakers (Andover, OH), saw Mathews's baseball squad knock off Pymatuning Valley by a count of 7-1.

Coming up next, the Mustangs play the Badger Braves (Kinsman, OH) in a Northeastern Athletic- Stripes battle, on Wednesday, April 26. Mathews will attempt to move on its 11-1 season record. The Braves enter the battle with a 4-4 record after their 16-5 non-league win over Chaney (Youngstown, OH).

The Lakers now possess a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakeside for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 27. Pymatuning Valley will play a Dragons squad coming off a 4-1 league loss to Perry (Perry, OH). The Dragons record now stands at 4-10.
