Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) followers exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA), 19-4 in a league battle.
The Mustangs now have a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Albemarle for a Jefferson contest on Friday, April 28. Monticello will confront a Patriots squad coming off a 15-3 non-league win over Glen Allen (Glen Allen, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 7-1.
The Black Knights now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Western Albemarle for a Jefferson contest on Tuesday, May 2. Charlottesville will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 17-1 league win over Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 8-0.
