Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC), 4-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Huskies confront the Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC) in a Northwestern 3A/4A challenge, on Wednesday, April 26. Ashe County will attempt to better on its 11-2 season record. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 9-0 league win over Freedom (Morganton, NC).

The Spartans now have a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they host Hibriten for a Northwestern 3A/4A challenge on Wednesday, April 26. South Caldwell will confront a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 8-3.
