Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Northside Vikings (Roanoke, VA), 8-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles confront the Staunton River Golden Eagles (Moneta, VA) in a Blue Ridge challenge, on Friday, April 28. Franklin County will attempt to better on its 2-10 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 2-1 league win over Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA).

The Vikings now have a 1-10 record. They take the field next when they host Fleming for a Blue Ridge challenge on Thursday, April 27. Northside will confront a Colonels team coming off a 9-0 league loss to William Byrd (Vinton, VA). The Colonels record now stands at 1-9.
