The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Thomas Jefferson Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC) and the visiting Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC), saw Thomas Jefferson's soccer squad get by Highland Tech by a margin of 1-0.
The Gryphons now sport a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Shelby for a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A test on Thursday, April 27. Thomas Jefferson will meet a Golden Lions squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Burns (Lawndale, NC). The Golden Lions record now stands at 8-7.
With the loss, Highland Tech drops to 5-5 on the season. The Rams host East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC) to meet the Warriors in a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A test on Thursday, April 27. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 12-1. East Gaston won 9-0 in their recent non-league test against Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC)
