The Lamar Thunder soccer team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Trinidad Miners to 1 in the Thunder league victory on Tuesday.

Next, the Thunder face the St. Mary's Pirates (Colorado Springs, CO) in a 2A Tri Peaks contest, on Thursday, April 27. Lamar will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Pirates enter the contest with a 4-7 record after their 5-2 league win over Ellicott (Calhan, CO).

The Miners now have a 0-9 record. They take the field next when they host The Vanguard School for a 2A Tri Peaks contest on Tuesday, May 2. Trinidad will face a Coursers team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Fountain Valley (Colorado Springs, CO). The Coursers record now stands at 5-5.
