Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) and the host South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC), saw Ashley's baseball squad knock off South Brunswick by a tally of 17-3.

The Screaming Eagle (12-5) will now prepare for their match against Hoggard (Wilmington, NC). The Vikings go into the non-league match with a 9-7 record. In their last match, Hoggard was overwhelmed by North Brunswick (Leland, NC), 4-1, in a non-league match.

The Cougars (6-7) will now prepare for their match against East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 9-2 record.
