In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Northside Vikings baseball team scored a tight 4-0 victory over the Franklin County Eagles.
The Vikings (9-6) will now prepare for their game against Fleming (Roanoke, VA). The Colonels go into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Fleming tipped Northside (Roanoke, VA), 5-0, in a non-league game.
The Eagles (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Halifax County (South Boston, VA). The Comets go into the non-league game with a 4-3 record.
