Spectators at Tuesday's league battle between the Oakwood Eagles (Greenville, NC) and the host Halifax Academy Vikings (Roanoke Rapids, NC), saw Oakwood's baseball squad knock off Halifax Academy by a count of 13-11.
The Vikings now possess a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Ridgecroft for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 26. Halifax Academy will play a Rams squad coming off a 5-2 league loss to Pungo Christian Academy (Belhaven, NC). The Rams record now stands at 1-4.
