In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Radford Bobcats (Radford, VA), by a margin of 24-14.
With the triumph, Glenvar moves its record to 1-9 on the year. The Highlanders travel to Carroll County (Hillsville, VA) to clash with the Cavaliers in a non-league game on Friday, April 28. The Cavaliers come into the game with a record of 10-3.
In their next game, the Bobcats clash with the Alleghany Mountaineers (Covington, VA) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 1. Radford will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record. The Mountaineers come into the game with a 9-1 record after their 11-0 non-league win over James River (Buchanan, VA).
