The Laney Buccaneers lacrosse squad (Wilmington, NC), was overwhelmed 18-8 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC)

Coming up next, the Vikings meet the New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern challenge, on Thursday, April 27. Hoggard will attempt to improve on its 14-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 16-5 league win over West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC).

The Buccaneers now sport a 13-5 record. They play next when they host Topsail for a Mideastern challenge on Thursday, April 27. Laney will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 20-11 league loss to Ashley (Wilmington, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 14-4.
