The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Lee Generals (Jonesville, VA) and the host Abingdon Falcons (Abingdon, VA), saw Lee's softball squad nip Abingdon by a count of 9-8.

The Generals now sport a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gate City for a Mountain 7 match on Friday, May 5.

With the loss, Abingdon falls to 7-5 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Tennessee (Bristol, TN) to face the Vikings in a non-league match on Monday, May 1. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 17-5. Tennessee won 8-4 in their recent non-league match against Eastside (Coeburn, VA)
