Glasgow Scotties (Glasgow, KY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Adair County Indians (Columbia, KY), 9-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Scotties now sport a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Warren East for a District 15 challenge on Thursday, April 27. Glasgow will face a Raiders squad coming off a 7-4 league win over Allen County-Scottsville (Scottsville, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 13-8.

With the loss, Adair County falls to 4-12 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Taylor County (Campbellsville, KY) to face the Cardinals in a District 20 challenge on Thursday, April 27. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 13-6. Taylor County lost 5-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Mercer County (Harrodsburg, KY)
