Pleasant Grove Vikings (Pleasant Grove, UT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host American Fork Cavemen (American Fork, UT), 14-0 in a league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 16-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lone Peak for a 6A Region 4 challenge on Thursday, April 27. Pleasant Grove will battle a Knights squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Skyridge (Lehi, UT). The Knights record now stands at 3-7.

With the loss, American Fork falls to 6-12 on the campaign. The Cavemen host Springville (Springville, UT) to battle the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 26. The Red Devils enter the challenge with a record of 14-4. Springville won 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Wasatch (Heber City, UT)
