North Carolina High School Softball - Ashe County South Caldwell

The Ashe County Huskies softball team (West Jefferson, NC), was routed 13-9 in Tuesday's league test with the visiting South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC)

Coming up next, the Spartans encounter the Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC) in a Northwestern 3A/4A test, on Wednesday, April 26. South Caldwell will attempt to improve on its 13-3 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 7-14 record after their 20-4 league loss to Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC).

The Huskies (11-5) will now prepare for their test against Watauga (Boone, NC). The Pioneers come into the Northwestern 3A/4A test with a 7-11 record. In their last test, Watauga edged Freedom (Morganton, NC), 11-8, in a league test.
