The Grayson County Blue Devils softball team (Independence, VA), 5-3 in Tuesday's league test with the visiting Auburn Eagles (Riner, VA)
Coming up next, the Eagles clash with the Fort Chiswell Pioneers (Max Meadows, VA) in a Mountain Empire test, on Friday, April 28. Auburn will attempt to improve on its 13-1 season record. The Pioneers come into the test with a 10-3 record after their 20-2 league win over Giles (Pearisburg, VA).
The Blue Devils (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Galax (Galax, VA). The Maroon Tide come into the Mountain Empire test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Galax by Carroll County (Hillsville, VA), 25-0, in a non-league test.
